Cigniti Tech equips Nalgonda health center

Cigniti Technologies, an AI and IP led digital assurance and digital engineering services company recently launched a new born intensive care unit (NICU) and special newborn care unit (SNCU) facility at the Mother and Child Health Center (MCHC) in Nalgonda district of Hyderabad.

Hyderabad: Cigniti Technologies, an AI and IP led digital assurance and digital engineering services company recently launched a new born intensive care unit (NICU) and special newborn care unit (SNCU) facility at the Mother and Child Health Center (MCHC) in Nalgonda district of Hyderabad.

The digital company said that it collaborated with Nirmaan, a non-profit organisation to address the shortage of NICU/SNCU beds, medical equipments like radiant warmers, phototherapy machines, pulse oximeters, syringe and infusion pumps, multipara monitors, HFNC machines, and air conditioners for the ward.

An undertaking of the company's CSR initiative, the facility was launched by C V Subramanyam, Chairman and Managing Director, Cigniti Technologies along with Kancharla Bhupal Reddy, MLA, Nalgonda, government of Telangana.

"A lack of infrastructure in rural and remote areas is a major contributor to high rural infant mortality rate. By equipping the facility with life-critical medical equipments, we are trying to contribute in improving care quality for the residents of Nalgonda," C V Subramanyam, CMD of Cigniti Technologies, said. He further added that the supported facility serves a population of 14 lakh people in the district headquarters and rural villages surrounding the district. And, with this upgrade, the facility would be able to serve about 1,000 infants per year.
